Students design their own planet “Dionysus” after a class on space and planets.

Plainsboro Peer Tutoring holds an opportunity for high schoolers to lead specialty classes for younger children, including public speaking, geography and spelling bee, and science exploration classes. Since January, I have had the opportunity to lead the science exploration class along with sophomore Abhishek Das.
Every week, I met with six or seven kids at Plainsboro Municipal Center. It was a unique experience to be able to plan the curriculum, activities, and even homework; the young kids were eager to find out more about science, by asking questions and sharing ideas, and the 90-minute class ended before I knew it.

Is space exploration worth it?
