5:03, that is Dean’s mile time. Seeing Dean with the sprinters at track practice and seeing how unpredictably fast he runs is quite what this article entails about Dean. Dean is always the one I see putting in the most work as a sprinter. Whether it’s in practice or at meets. I personally didn’t know that this was Dean’s first year on track until this article. Dean embraces that South vs North rivalry and always makes South look spectacular. He inspires others to put in as much effort if not more effort than himself. 

All in all, it can be said that the South has come a long way in track and serves to only get stronger over time.
